E2: Amor Pixelado (E2 from Estela & Eduardo) is a portrait woven with meaning, memory, and coded affection. At its heart, it captures a loving moment between mother and child—softly pixelated as if filtered through time, memory, and the layered lens of love.
The abstract background, painted in flowing shades of purples and pinks—mom’s favorite colors—blurs between floral textures and dreamy clouds. Hidden within the composition are delicate symbols: tiny hearts, glimmers of stars, and scattered “e”s—each one a whisper of connection and legacy.
In the upper left corner, the painted sky opens into a cosmic window in the exact shape of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico—artist's hometown and the painting’s emotional compass. A radiant star marks my family home, while a second largest star points to my beloved beach, Crash Boat—both anchoring the piece in memory and place.
The vibrant flamboyán flower—painted with deep red-orange passion—honors his mother’s iconic painting subject and his personal favorite tree.
